Global
Arts and Education, Inc., has joined forces with Sirona Cares Foundation, and
the Haitian Health Foundation to secure nail clippers for distribution in
Haiti. More children are dying from the bacteria
under their nails than from contaminated water.
As Haiti continues to rebuild we are doing our part to save their
future.
As Haiti struggles to rebuild
- Haitian
families struggle to survive.
The leading cause of children?s death
in Haiti is diarrhea caused more often by hygiene issues than bad water.
Without running water, proper sanitation, or eating utensils, dirty nails can
lead to death.
A set of nail clippers which costs
only a few cents will save five children's lives once in the hands of mothers
and care givers throughout Haiti.
Once we achieve our goal, the
Haitian Health Foundation will distribute the clippers to families in
Haiti.
100% of your tax-deductible donation
goes toward the purchase and shipment of clippers.
With the rainy season now upon the
people of Haiti, it is even more critical that this simple item get into the
hands of mothers caring for children in tent cities and makeshift housing.
Make your donation today.
For every $5.00 you
contribute 50 lives will
be saved.
